everything happens for a reason. :)
Enrollment in UP is synonymous to haggardness. I’m not kidding. Unlike in other schools, in UP, you’d put a lot, and I mean A LOT of effort in enrolling your subjects. We need to get our own subjects manually. Yes, we have online registration before the regular enrollment period. But for us to get our desired schedules and sections for those subjects through online, we need to get a lot of help from heaven. Hehe. You would rarely get your desired class online. Papaasahin ka lang.
Last Tuesday (June5) was the start of the regular enrollment period for undergrad students. I got 15 units from CRS online but I cancelled 3 units. That 3-unit subject brought disaster in my life! Argh. I will be delayed for one year, (yes, ONE year!!!) because of that subject. And it’s not okay. ES1 or drafting is a subject for all engineering students. I wasn’t able to take it because I thought that it’s not a prereq of any major. But I was wrong. Tsk. Since I wasn’t able to take it, I would be delayed because I can’t have one of my majors and our major subjects in Industrial Engineering are seasonal. Tss.
I already cried and begged hard in front of our department professors and advisers but they still didn’t take considerations for me. I hated them. And worse, I even cursed them, secretly. I was and am sorry for acting that way. I was just so sad and disappointed that I wasn’t able to control my emotions.
Sorry.
At this moment, I think, I already got over the situation. Everything happens for a reason. This may be a cliché but it’s true. I remember what one of our churchmates said in one of our Sunday services. She said that in everything, be grateful. It’s very hard to be grateful when you’re going through a situation similar to mine, but I know He has His own reason why He is letting these things to happen. I’ve read in one of my quiet times this week that we shouldn’t worry about tomorrow; we have so much to worry about today. He’ll take care of our worries, we should just believe in Him.
*In spite of all these things, there’s this one reason for me to smile and to be happy. I can’t spill it out here. Haha. Basta, I’m still happy in one way. Thank God.:)

Everyday you wait is another day you’ll never get back again.

THE WONDERLAND

And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you. - Lucas Scott, OTH
